When we featured Soo Min Hong in our Meeting of the Week, she spoke about building institutions that help technical founders turn frontier science into companies that matter globally. That ethos is exactly what drives pluto house, and now v2 is about to kick off.
From November 2–25, ten selected founders will live and build together in Montmartre, Paris, the historic district of artists and creators. V1 was wildly oversubscribed and produced not just companies in motion but deep friendships and lasting collaborations. This second edition is designed to go even further: more mentors, more partners, and more space for ambitious ideas that don’t fit the “classic startup track”.
Pluto is not about predictable SaaS plays or polished MBA pitches. It’s about giving the scientist, the hacker, the unconventional builder a place to activate their ideas. As Soo Min put it, these founders don’t need to be “de-risked”, they need to be given the room to create. That’s what Pluto House exists for.
This year, the program is backed by some of the most forward-thinking names in venture: Elaia, daphni, Merantix Capital, Heartcore Capital, No Label Ventures, redalpine, Google, and LocalHost. They’re betting on the next wave of founders who will shape the (im)possible.
🛸 Applications close September 24. If you’re an early-stage founder, a curious builder, or someone who thrives in the messy process of creation, this is your chance.
