I left for London straight out of high school because I wanted to immerse myself in a fast-moving world. That time became quite defining, and meeting those people shaped me more than I expected.

Later, I moved to Copenhagen to start my university studies at CBS, and around that same time, I met Bastian. I joined BlackWood at the very beginning, and Ive been part of building the firm from the ground up, working closely with LPs across Europe and leading fundraising once we launched our first fund. In the summer of 2025, we raised the firms debut fund at $25m (and I completed my studies). The beer never tasted that good.

Today, I spend most of my time with investors, trying to understand how they think, what they believe in, and what kind of future they want to be part of. Learning about our LPs and earning their trust means the world to me.

We were once a startup investing in startups, and we still act like that. Thats also why accountability is so high in this team. We take the trust and patience our investors place in us seriously, and we work every day to make sure it pays off. Were here to deliver returns and make our investors proud. We do that by backing founders who are here to bend the realities of today for a better tomorrow. I cant think of anything more exciting than that.

And so I try to stay curious, committed, and fully invested. Authenticity breeds reliability.

On a personal note, music plays in my head at all times, and Ive played instruments for as long as I can remember. Im inspired by the big thinkers and drawn to questions Ill never be able to answer. Those conversations are usually my favourite ones. My favourite place to ask myself lifes big questions is on my carbon Sleipnir (my bike) up the roads of northern Denmark, on a run, or when I occasionally find the time to hone my golf swing so its ready when its ultimately needed to impress a few LPs on the fairway (dont worry, Ill still let you win).
